Job Context:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to design, manage, and optimize our infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across multi-cloud environments, proven ability to handle critical situations, and a proactive approach to ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security.
Job Responsibilities:
โช๏ธDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available systems and infrastructure.
โช๏ธWork extensively with multi-cloud environments, including local private cloud and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, DigitalOcean, and similar technologies.
โช๏ธManage and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and deployment processes.
โช๏ธMonitor system performance, availability, and reliability; proactively identify and resolve issues.
โช๏ธHandle critical production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term preventive solutions.
โช๏ธWork closely with development, security, and technology teams to support day-to-day system operations and solution requirements.
โช๏ธManage cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including servers, containers, networking, and storage.
โช๏ธImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
โช๏ธEnsure system security, backup strategies, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
โช๏ธPrepare technical documentation and mentor junior engineers.
โช๏ธStay updated with emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.
Minimum Education Requirements:
โช๏ธBSc in Computer Science, or Bachelorโs degree in other related Engineering disciplines (Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent)
Experience Requirements:
โช๏ธMinimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, System Engineering, or a similar role.
โช๏ธProven experience in real-life handling of critical system outages, incidents, and high-pressure situations.
โช๏ธStrong hands-on exposure to production-grade, multi-cloud environments.
Certifications (Advantageous):
Any of the following certifications will be considered a strong advantage:
โข AWS Certified Solutions Architect / SysOps Administrator
โข Microsoft Azure Administrator / DevOps Engineer
โข Professional DevOps Engineer
Required Skills & Competencies:
โช๏ธStrong expertise in Linux/Unix system administration.
โช๏ธHands-on experience with multi-cloud, private cloud, and hybrid environments.
โช๏ธExperience with containers and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
โช๏ธProficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.).
โช๏ธExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
โช๏ธStrong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or similar).
โช๏ธExcellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
โช๏ธStrong communication and collaboration abilities.
