Job Context:
ADN DigiNet Limited is seeking a skilled System Engineer / Sr. System Engineer to support our client through a resource augmentation engagement.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Windows Server administration, Microsoft enterprise solutions, virtualization, system monitoring, vulnerability management, and IT infrastructure operations. The role involves maintaining and supporting enterprise infrastructure, ensuring system availability and security, resolving incidents, and contributing to infrastructure and technology projects
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure and enterprise applications, including Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, SCCM, Microsoft 365, and Skype for Business.
• Administer and maintain SCVMM and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Manage and administer ManageEngine solutions, including ADManager Plus, ADSelfService Plus, ADAudit Plus, Exchange Reporter Plus, Endpoint Central, and OpManager.
• Manage File Server and SharePoint access permissions and support appropriate access-management practices.
• Monitor the availability, performance, and health of IT systems using OpManager and address service-impacting issues.
• Resolve service requests and incidents related to Windows infrastructure and enterprise applications.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities across Windows operating systems and hosted applications.
• Apply operating system patches, upgrades, administrative tools, and utilities using SCCM and ManageEngine Endpoint Central.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance activities for Windows servers and prepare operational reports.
• Support audit and regulatory requirements, including closure of infrastructure and application-related observations and maintenance of relevant documentation.
• Support infrastructure and technology projects, including information security activities, implementation support, stakeholder coordination, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• For senior-level responsibilities, oversee infrastructure operations, vulnerability remediation, change activities, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft solutions, including Active Directory, Exchange, SCCM, Microsoft 365, Skype for Business, Failover Cluster, and Hyper-V.
• Hands-on experience in Windows Server administration and enterprise infrastructure management.
• Experience with SCVMM, ManageEngine, OpManager, Endpoint Central, and related system administration tools.
• Knowledge of system monitoring, patch management, vulnerability remediation, and IT infrastructure security.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain calm, positive, and adaptable in a dynamic technology environment.
• Ability to simplify processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
• MCSE, MCSA, or Azure certification will be an added advantage.
Minimum Education Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent/relevant discipline..
Experience Requirements:
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in System Administration, Windows Server Administration, or IT Infrastructure Management.
• Experience managing complex Windows environments in a technology-focused organization will be preferred.
• Candidates with 2–4 years of experience will be considered for the System Engineer position, while candidates with 5+ years of relevant experience may be considered for the Sr. System Engineer position.
