The Australian Building Codes Board is seeking stakeholder feedback on the National Voluntary Certification Scheme for Manufacturers of Prefabricated Construction. Proposed changes include an update to the definition for ‘prefabricated construction’ within the National Construction Code (NCC), a proposed Scheme framework, and draft Scheme Rules and Economic Analysis Report to support the Scheme. Comments close 15 September 2026.
