Laundry at SU residences now works in two ways. Stellenbosch University

Since 1 July 2026, students can either:

1. Use cashless self-service

Tap your card, do your own wash, and carry on with your day.

2. Book assisted laundry on WhatsApp

If you want help with your laundry, you can now book the assisted service on WhatsApp:

060 538 3154

To place a WhatsApp booking, send:

1. Name and surname
2. Residence
3. Student number
4. Preferred drop-off time
5. Preferred pick-up time
6. Number of loads
7. and whether you want wash only, dry only, or both

Important:

The previous on-site assisted laundry setup ended on 30 June 2026.

There is no longer an on-site laundry assistant in each facility, so students who want assisted laundry should now use the WhatsApp booking process.

Pricing

- Unassisted wash: R32
- Assisted wash: R47

Assisted bookings should be made 24 hours in advance.
