Construction is well underway on our 120MW solar PV project.

The first four projects under our wind energy procurement programme are also under construction, the earliest of which is expected to reach commercial operation in Q4 2026.

Renewable energy targets matter, net-new renewable energy matters more. Every megawatt under construction today adds net-new clean energy to South Africa’s grid, creating lasting impact well beyond our own operations.

There are no overnight successes in the energy transition. Reaching our goals requires years of planning, partnerships, procurement, and investment.

The progress we’re sharing today is exactly why we’re on track to reach 50% clean energy by 2027, and 100% by 2035.

As the digital world grows, so does the infrastructure behind it. And with that growth comes responsibility.

At Teraco, we believe supporting Africa’s digital future means continually considering how our data centres are designed, built and operated, from the energy that powers them and the air used to cool them, to the impact we have on the communities around us.

Our 2026 Sustainable Impact Report looks at the progress we’ve made and the actions we continue to take to grow responsibly.

Explore the report and the thinking, investment, and innovation behind our approach to sustainable digital infrastructure.

In critical environments, resilience is about more than infrastructure. It's about the people, processes, and standards that support it.

That's where ISO 45001:2018 certification matters.

It demonstrates a structured approach to occupational health and safety, helping to reduce operational risk, strengthen resilience, and support the consistent delivery of services our clients depend on.

For our clients, it means partnering with an organisation that is committed to maintaining safe, stable, and reliable operations, today and into the future.

Because when your business relies on always-on infrastructure, confidence in your partner isn't optional. It's essential.

As mining operations become more connected, automated, and AI-driven, infrastructure decisions are becoming increasingly strategic.

The most effective mining architectures are not built around a single environment. They are designed around workload requirements, latency, resilience, scalability, and operational outcomes.

Our latest playbook explores how hybrid infrastructure strategies are enabling data-driven and AI-enabled mining operations across Africa.
