The 2026 TICON AFRICA Conference is built around four themes that matter to anyone working in African ICT right now.

Sustainable growth, a future-ready digital workforce, data trust and compliance, and stronger cybersecurity infrastructure. These aren't conference buzzwords — they're the conversations shaping where the continent's digital economy goes next!

As South Africa's official member body to TICON Africa, SAICTA is proud to be part of that conversation, and to bring South African voices to the table.

Last week, we gathered in Parktown for another engaging Digital Dawn session!

Dr Amaleya Goneos-Malka, CEO of Global Pact, strategically traced the logic of platform thinking from Darwin's theory of adaptation to Amazon's dominance and explored what South African organisations can learn from that model.

Thank you to Dr Goneos-Malka and to everyone who joined us.

Daniel and Lounelle Bresler attended SAICTA's Digital Dawn seminar last week, presented by Pieter Geldenhuys.

His insights into megatrends and "telling the future" (IYKYK) are truly fascinating.

It was also great to meet up with other ICT Excellence Award-winners such as Jacqui Muller again.

We at DB Digital Marketing Agency are fascinated to watch the future of ICT unfold on the African continent in real-time.

Africa hosts immeasurable potential to harness and leverage the power of the ICT sector, and we proudly support the mission of South African ICT Association Saicta to bring together collaborators, stakeholders, lobbyists, and decision-makers, both in the private and public sectors, to make a lasting impact here on home soil for the greater good of all who live here.

Keep up the great work, guys!
