On Thursday, 21 August, our team gathered in person and online for a chance to reconnect, celebrate progress and reflect on what it means to give back.

Dave Carson (Overall Head at 2Cana) reviewed the year's achievements against our goals and outlined priorities for the road ahead. Shirley Singh (People, Finance and Relationships) reminded colleagues that staying connected is at the core of our community: Working from home doesn't mean working alone!

Charles Cowan (Product Head and Relationships) updated us on our client relations, reinforcing how the partnerships we build translate into stronger business outcomes.

And lastly, Cyndi Kritzinger (Get-2-It and Developer) closed with Get-2-It Nelson Mandela Day raffle draw which raised over R18 000.00 for The Durban Child and Youth Care Center. A reminder that generosity is as much a part of who we are.

We build software. But the reason it matters isn't the code, it's what happens because of it: a claims team that isn't drowning in paperwork, a policyholder who gets an answer when they need one, a partner who can finally trust their systems to just work.

It shows up in the small things too, a teammate who takes time to mentor a trainee developer, a client call where we actually listen before we build, a decision to do it right instead of just doing it fast.
