A big female humpback whale got stuck in a mess of crab traps and ropes. She had heavy traps on her, making it hard to stay up in the water. Also, lots of rope was tangled around her body, tail, and mouth.

Now, let me tell you how she thanked the people who helped her.

A fisherman saw her near the Farallon Islands and asked for help on the radio. A team came quickly and saw she was in a bad situation. The only way to help her was to dive in and remove the traps and ropes, which was risky. A single hit from her tail could be deadly for the rescuers.

They used special knives for hours until she was finally free.

When she got out, she swam happily in circles. Then, she came to each diver, one by one, and nudged and pushed them to say thanks. Some of them called it the most beautiful thing they ever experienced.

The person who removed the rope from her mouth said her eye followed him the whole time, and it changed him forever.

Wishing you the luck to have people around who help you get out of tough situations. And may you always feel the happiness of giving and receiving thanks.
