In Vietnam, there are two Women's Days each year: International Women's Day on March 8th and Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20th.
These days originated to honor the significant role and contributions women have made in Vietnam's history, such as in the independence movement and the labor force. Today, it is a well-established tradition for men to express their gratitude by giving women flowers and gifts, and treating them to meals.

In return, the female employees at VFA started our very own "Men's Day" on June 4th a few years ago. This year, using funds from the labor union and the female staff, we organized meals and games to show our appreciation for the men.

What began as a simple return of favor for Women's Day has now become an important annual tradition at VFA.

[Data-Driven Organization: Conducting Our 1st Employee Engagement Survey]
In our core offshore lab development service, our greatest asset is our "people." No matter how excellent the technology is, we cannot contribute to our clients' businesses in the long term without a healthy and highly motivated team.

For data security reasons, the demand for "Local LLMs" (which do not send data outside) is increasing. However, many people spend too much time just setting up the environment.

To help with this, we have published an article comparing two tools: "LM Studio" (great for personal testing) and "Ollama" (better for team sharing).

For individual use, LM Studio is very easy to use, just like a standard app. However, when considering the number of users and GPU costs, Cloud AI (like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) might be more practical for daily business tasks. It is important to choose the right technology based on your actual needs, rather than just following trends.

Our in-house developed AI system, "MAL Face Emotion," will be featured tonight at 1:25 AM on the TV Asahi program "FRUITS ZIPPER's NEW KAWAII tte Sh*teyo?"!

This AI system analyzes faces through a camera to quantify emotions like "Joy" and "Surprise," as well as the overall "Vibes" of the environment in real-time.

While it is being used for an entertainment show this time, it has also been successfully implemented in various business situations:

Facial expression analysis in job interviews (e.g., measuring smiles)

Tracking employee conditions by integrating with attendance systems

Visualizing the "atmosphere" of offices or retail stores

To make it easy for companies to adopt, the system only extracts numerical data without saving or transmitting the actual images. This ensures strict privacy protection while running smoothly on web browsers and mobile apps.
