Look up at the night sky.

For centuries, people have found shapes among scattered stars and turned them into stories.

A Vitalify Asia engineer combined a GNN with symbolic AI to reconstruct Orion, Cassiopeia, and the Big Dipper from noisy, rotated, scaled, and overlapping point clouds. The model achieved a macro F1 score of 96.91%.

Part of me wants this ability to remain human. Another part wants to see AI try.
That was the very human contradiction I felt while reading.

人は昔から、無数の光の中に形を見つけ、そこに名前と物語を与えてきました。けれど、ノイズだらけの点群から星座を見つけることは、コンピューターには簡単ではありません。

Vitalify Asiaのエンジニアは、GNNと記号的AIを組み合わせ、回転や拡大縮小、重なりのある星空から、オリオン座、カシオペヤ座、北斗七星を検出・分離・復元するモデルを開発しました。テストマクロF1スコアは96.91％です。

人だけが見つけられる形であってほしい。でも、AIにも挑ませてみたい。記事を読んだ私は、そんな少し矛盾した、人間らしい気持ちになりました。

Good morning! It’s a beautiful Monday morning!

Japanese can be a little fuzzy sometimes, and you may feel that not even one-third of what you mean gets across. Perhaps even this reference is already getting lost in translation...

There is a famous Japanese song titled “1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou,” which roughly means “One-Third of Pure Emotion.” It is a great title, isn’t it? Feel free to search for it.

So, what if we trained artificial intelligence using an artificial language designed to reduce ambiguity?

One of our Japanese engineers explored this idea by training an AI model from scratch using Lojban, an artificial language based on predicate logic.

[July 2026] Which image-to-3D AI is actually useful?

We tested 7 models, including Prism 3.1, Tripo P1, Meshy 6 and Hunyuan3D, with the same portrait, default settings and no edits. Some captured the face but failed on hair or mesh. Others produced clean geometry but weaker textures.

Prism 3.1 stood out for realism; Tripo P1 for its balance of speed and quality. We also compare use cases for game assets, prototypes and base meshes.

【2026年7月時点】画像1枚から3Dモデルを作るAI、結局どれが使えるのか。

Prism 3.1、Tripo P1、Meshy 6、Hunyuan3Dなど7種類を、同じ画像・デフォルト設定・生成後の修正なしで比較しました。顔は似ていても髪やメッシュが崩れる。メッシュは整っていても質感が弱い。試してみると、得意分野はかなり違います。

リアリティ重視ならPrism 3.1、速度と品質のバランスならTripo P1。ゲーム用アセット、プロトタイプ、ベースメッシュなど、用途別の選び方もまとめました。

3D model production is also starting to change significantly with AI.
Until now, creating a realistic, movable 3D model of a person required 3D designers to build it from scratch or combine multiple parts and tools, which took a lot of time.

In this verification, we have reached the point where AI can generate about 80% of the production process in a short time.
※ This requires integrating multiple open-source tools in a local GPU environment and building a dedicated workflow.

Hair, textures, lighting, and other details still need manual adjustment. Even so, it has become much more efficient to create 3D models that can control facial expressions and poses.

3Dモデル制作も、AIによって大きく変わり始めています。
リアルで動かせる人物の3Dモデルは、これまで3Dデザイナーが一から制作するか、複数のパーツやツールを組み合わせる必要があり、多くの時間がかかっていました。

今回の検証では、AIを活用することで、制作工程の約80％を短時間で生成できるところまで来ています。
※複数のオープンソースツールをローカルGPU環境上で統合し、ワークフローを構築する必要があります。

髪の毛、テクスチャー、ライティングなどには、まだ手動での調整が必要です。それでも、表情や姿勢を制御できる3Dモデルを、以前より大幅に効率よく制作できるようになりました。

In Vietnam, there are two Women's Days each year: International Women's Day on March 8th and Vietnamese Women's Day on October 20th.
These days originated to honor the significant role and contributions women have made in Vietnam's history, such as in the independence movement and the labor force. Today, it is a well-established tradition for men to express their gratitude by giving women flowers and gifts, and treating them to meals.

In return, the female employees at VFA started our very own "Men's Day" on June 4th a few years ago. This year, using funds from the labor union and the female staff, we organized meals and games to show our appreciation for the men.

What began as a simple return of favor for Women's Day has now become an important annual tradition at VFA.
