At last week’s "Breakfast Talk, Vietnam’s Tech Evolution: From Service Provider to Strategic Partner", hosted by CCIFV, Dutch Business Association Vietnam DBAV 🇳🇱 and NTQ Europe, the discussion explored Vietnam’s transition toward more strategic technology partnerships.

Representing LINAGORA Vietnam, René Cordier, Technical Lead – Backend & Delivery, shared our perspective on:

👀 11 real-time transcription streams on a single 16GB GPU. Less than 80 W of consumption.

Impressive? It is on this version that LinTO.ai

But that's not the most interesting thing. Because if we take vLLM in its standard version, achieving this result is simply impossible with Voxtral. The model ends up saturating before it can even be used sustainably ☹️

In trying to understand why, our Damien Lainé collaborator identified an unexpected limitation: the problem was not with the available memory, but with the way the engine handled the positions used by the model over time.

A technical detail that seems like a technical detail, but the consequences are very concrete: higher infrastructure costs, oversized hardware and difficulties in deploying it in production. 👉🏼 Damien then developed an approach to get around this limitation. It is this version that we are now using in LinTO.ai on 16 or 20 GB graphics cards.

At LINAGORA, we have always defended this Open Source approach: making open technologies truly usable and accessible.

➡️ This optimization is now used in LinTO.ai, but it has also been documented and offered to the vLLM community so that everyone can benefit from it. This is what it means to us to make our ecosystem thrive.

After weeks of preparation, we are there. For 4 days, the LINAGORA teams will be at the heart of the largest European tech event.

This year is special: for the first time, we are part of the Digital Sovereignty Village, alongside actors who share the same conviction: alternatives exist and it is time to give them their rightful place.

For our part, we are mainly leaving with something else: meetings, debates (sometimes very lively) and a lot of enthusiasm around digital sovereignty, AI and open source. Many of you came to meet us at the Digital Sovereignty Village, to discover our solutions, to ask your questions and to share your projects!

This first day was also marked by the interventions of our President Alexandre Zapolsky and our Director General Michel-Marie MAUDET.

Two different speeches, but the same conviction: the alternatives exist, they are already there, and it is time to give them their rightful place.

"Hey Linshare, can you send the contract?"

A situation that more than one will understand: a customer is waiting for a contract, and you are on the move.

Two options:
❌ the one you know all too well: open the computer, launch the VPN, search for the right file, generate a link, return to the email...
✅ the one you would really like = simply say "sends the contract to customer X".

This is one of the use cases for linshare.app's MCP server, which is now available. (MCP = Model Context Protocol, the open standard that connects AI assistants to your business tools.)

You ask your AI assistant, "Send the updated contract to customer X from my workspace." And everything comes together:

– the right document is retrieved from your LinShare space
– your access rules apply (rights, expiration, security)
– a secure link is generated – the file goes to the right recipient

👉 The key point: the assistant acts with your rights, never beyond that can it do anything that you could not do yourself. It offers, you validate, and everything remains within LinShare's security framework. Automation, without ever leaving the perimeter of trust.
