Vintage VS Modern
So how does an amplifier made by 50years ago compare to our current range?
One thing that hasn’t changed is the way they are manufactured, all Sugden products are still handmade at our West Yorkshire factory. As the original 1967 A21 provides a lot of the DNA for our current products, the distinctive pure class A sound can be heard in vintage and modern Sugden amplifiers. With the availability of better components and 50 years of continuous development, it is fair to say there have been many improvements in both sound quality and performance.
