Professional DJ equipment Vestax: in 1995~2000, a series of dual Top loading CD players appeared, inbuilt mixer allows you to mix next CD player, 2x phono, and 2x line sources without the connection of an external mixing console. 2 joysticks allow users to quick scan the CD, search easily for a known track and to pitch bend the track playing. Pitch bend allows you to adjust to pitch momentarily in order to fine tune your mix. Anti Skip & Anti Jump with the buffer memory. Standby Mode. If the CD is left unattended or on pause mode for an extended period (approximately10 minutes) the unit will go into sleep/auto standby mode. This feature has been included to promote the life of each mechanism as onstant playing will wear down the quality of the laser.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: in addition to TOP models, Vestax also produced some home audio DJ gear. The most known was the mixer MDM-410; offered users 19” rack design, 4 band Master EQ, 3 band EQ per channel, 2 band Mic EQ with Talk Over with sensitivy control, selectable Crossfader, 6 sound effects and Echo function and very more inputs / outputs & USB audio interface. You can see the options for connecting devices to such a mixing console in the attached diagram.

Professional DJ equipment Vestax: DJ CD record/player CDR-07 with Digital & LINE outputs, LINE/PHONO MIC/INST inputs can convert tracks to CD-DA & MP3 formats. Add tracks to finalized CD-RW´s by un-finalizing the disc. FX Effects can synchro with the BPM automatically or manually. For using via Vestax TT-M1 with PDX turntable for perfect control CD with vinyl. Appeared in early 2006 and followed the CDX-05 series from the previous year. But it was the last year that CD players were “in”. The following spring, Vestax introduced the world’s first serial USM MIDI controller VCI-100, which marked the end of Vestax’s CD player development.

Especially Vestax FMC-1 (flat mixer controller or VCI-B1 USB MIDI turntable - they were groundbreaking designs in their time). This special line of white VMC XL mixers & PDX-2000 turntable was very nice but the number of pcs produced was small. Although it has been on sale since 2005 and that’s a long time ago, we provide original parts to keep Vestax units alive.
