Tech Foundry Tech Foundry’s mission is to support the region’s growing need for a qualified technology workforce

The Tech Foundry has set out on a mission to turn Western Massachusetts into the technology capital of the Northeast. We will achieve this goal by building one of the most dynamic and fluid training programs ever offered for computer science, one that will allow our students to respond to the job market demands in real time. Working with high schools, colleges, and many volunteers, we train comput

er science professionals and network with local businesses to provide new opportunities for our job-ready graduates. We try to build bridges between established and start-up businesses, alongside public, non-profit, educational institutions by providing our graduates with the tools they need to succeed while facilitating each student to become significant stakeholders in the success of the program and our partners.

The Class of 2026 graduates June 23rd. Every student crossing that stage found a way to keep showing up through every week that tried to be the last one.

The students who leave don't fail a test. They run out of time. The babysitter falls through. The job demands more hours. Life presses harder.

Dr. Marie-Ange Delimon knows this from the inside. She was a Tech Launch student before she became our director. She almost left three times.

"My reality was not allowing me to continue."

She stayed because someone held the door open long enough. Now that's her job — every single day, for every person in that classroom.

The Class of 2026 graduates June 23rd. The thirty who made it through found a way to keep showing up through every week that tried to be the last one.

Tech Foundry was thrilled to celebrate the graduation of the inaugural Tech Bridge class last Friday evening. Jennifer McGrath, Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement for MGM Springfield, served as the keynote speaker. Class representative, Suraya Arnold, spoke about the program's impact before receiving her certificate from Tech Bridge Director, Keshia Maxwell and Instructor, Jessica Cogoli. The event was attended by several Tech Foundry board members, community partners, key funders, and proud family members.

Congratulations to everyone! We are so proud of your accomplishments.

"Don't underestimate my students."

Keshia Maxwell said it without pausing. Like someone who's watched the world get this wrong too many times.

Today, the Tech Bridge Class of 2026 graduates. Eleven young people from Springfield, Holyoke, and Chicopee. Nine months. A professional certification designed for people with field experience — which none of them had when they started. 5:45am buses to New York City. Midnight shifts followed by morning class.

Keshia's last words to me: "Watch out for us. Watch out for what we can do after we graduate."

Congratulations, Class of 2026. 🎓

Tech Foundry Tech Tip: Password Managers

"Password123" isn't fooling anyone—especially not hackers. The secret to a strong password? Make it long, not complicated. String together 4 random words, add some numbers and symbols, and you've got something that's both memorable AND secure. Your cat's name + your birthday? That's a no from us.

Every spring, thousands of grads cross a stage with no real plan for Tuesday.

That’s the gap Tech Bridge was built to close.

It’s a paid post-grad program from The Tech Foundry that pairs real technical training — IT helpdesk, AV systems, BICSI certification — with the part most programs forget: a cohort, mentors, and people who genuinely have these students’ backs.

The students say it best:

“What I like best about Tech Bridge is that it’s bringing me out of my shell.” “It pretty much bridges the gap between getting those interpersonal skills and finding a job.”

If you know a grad who’s still figuring it out — or a parent quietly worrying about a kid who is — this post is for them.

Send it their way. It might be the bridge they didn’t know existed.

Last month, a Tech Launch alumna messaged her former instructor on Discord.

She'd just been promoted at her job — IT help desk at a local college. She wanted him to know: she got the promotion because of what Tech Foundry taught her. She wouldn't have been ready without it.

That's the arc we're building. Not just a first job — the foundation for what comes after.

The Tech Launch Class of 2026 crosses the stage in five weeks. Thirty students who've been in class five days a week for eighteen weeks, who are now studying for certifications and applying for jobs simultaneously.

Watch what this class does next.
