Before you trust a message, take a closer look.

Does it pass the SLAM test?
S = Sender – Does the name match the email address? Look closely!
L = Links – Do embedded links look off? Hover over the link to see where it’s really taking you. If uncertain, don’t click!
A = Attachments – Be very careful with unexpected attachments – they can contain nasty stow-aways!
M = Message – AI has made it tougher to spot phishing emails. Does the message make sense? Read the message carefully and verify with a trusted source if you are uncertain.

If a message seems suspicious, reporting it gives the right people a chance to take a closer look.
