Remember when bad spelling was a dead giveaway that an email was a scam?

Well, apparently scammers discovered spellcheck. And AI. Now even phishing emails can look downright professional!

We've got some tips on what to watch for now that the old warning signs aren't quite as helpful.

Take a look: www.layer2computers.com/our-blog/ai-phishing-email-warning-signs

From cable chaos to network perfection! 🔧

A few hours, some upgraded equipment, and a little Layer 2 magic turned this cluttered network setup into something worth showing off!

And judging by the AFTER picture, we'd say our techs approve. 🤘😂

Check out the transformation and see what went into it!

🎶 Workin' 9 to 5... unless a server goes down at 4:57. 💻

September 25 is officially Dolly Parton Day here in Ohio, and we couldn't let it pass without a little love for Dolly. 💗

Beyond the music, the rhinestones, and a personality completely her own, Dolly spent decades doing an incredible amount of good. She supported education, healthcare, communities in need, and, through her Imagination Library, helped put books into the hands of more than a million Ohio kids.

There's not really an IT lesson here. We just think Dolly was pretty amazing.

But there is a lesson we can get behind, and one David has always tried to build into Layer 2:

Work hard. Be kind. Help people when you can. And never underestimate the power of a little sparkle. ✨

Happy Dolly Day from Layer 2! 💗

😂 Someone sent this our way, and it was just too accurate not to share.

Friday IT reminder: When you tell us your laptop "just suddenly stopped working," we're probably going to have a few follow-up questions.

No judgment. Just... questions. 👀

Happy Friday from the Layer 2 crew! May all your hinges survive the weekend.

Happy Labor Day from Layer 2! 💻☀️

We’re putting the computers in sleep mode and letting the coffee brew a little later than usual. ☕😴

Layer 2 Computers will be closed Monday, September 7, for Labor Day. We’ll be back Tuesday, recharged, caffeinated, and ready to tackle your tech!

Today we recognize the hard work and dedication of people across every industry, many of whom we’re lucky enough to support year-round.

And just like that, Finn is off to 3rd grade!

As our Layer 2 family, you've watched Finn grow up right along with us. We shared his first day of Kindergarten, cheered him into 1st and 2nd grade, and there was no way we were going to skip this milestone.

These days, Finn is all about Minecraft, LEGOs, and math, so we're pretty sure 3rd grade is just his next big level to conquer. 🧱➕⛏️

And because first-day pictures are WAY too good not to share, drop your first-day-of-school highlights in the comments! We want to see them all. ❤️

Most IT problems don’t actually come out of nowhere. 👀

The warning signs are usually there first. The trick is catching them while they’re still small.

We’re looking at a few of the things worth keeping an eye on, what your IT provider should already be handling, and what we still need YOU to tell us.

Even tech geeks need to occasionally leave our natural habitat, get some fresh air, and find food. Today, the Layer 2 techs did exactly that.

David, as always, was more than ready for the camera. The rest of the team apparently had other ideas. 😂

Just another demonstration of why we fix computers for a living and do not model for stock photography.

Happy Friday from the Layer 2 crew!

🎬 The Layer 2 team was asked a simple question...

The reactions were exactly what we hoped for... except David, who apparently spends too much time on the internet and caught on. 😂

Trust us, you'll want to watch this one. (No users were harmed in the making of this video)
