🏆 A PLUS STUDENT OF THE WEEK 🏆

We’re kicking off the 2026-2027 school year with an outstanding student! Congratulations to this week’s A Plus Student of the Week, Julia Carney! 👏💙

Julia is a senior at Hurricane High School who has truly shined both in and out of the classroom. While taking dual credit and AP classes, she has dedicated countless hours to serving others and staying involved in her school and community.

⭐ Current Student Body Vice President
📚 Held leadership positions in multiple school clubs
❤️ Volunteers her time helping others throughout the community
🥁 Even lends a helping hand to school organizations she isn't directly involved with, including the marching band!

Julia has a heart for working with the elderly, children, and animals, and hopes to pursue a career that allows her to continue serving her community and environment.

Those who know Julia describe her as patient, quiet, kind, mature, and a friend to all. She leads by example and represents Hurricane High School with grace.
