Interesting new program from HCA North Texas. The idea of preventative maintenance for equipment isn't new in the IT world but the idea of preventative technology training for the staff that uses the equipment isn't focused on nearly enough in the industry. We would love for all our clients to embrace this new idea.

Rounding with IT staff has not only raised the IT skills of nurses, giving them a competitive advantage, it has also reduced the volume of help desk tickets and rewarded some IT staffers with a deeper level of purpose than ever before.

We are getting ready to head out for a river cleanup from 1-2pm.

Anyone from the community is welcome to join us! Just park behind the Floodwall near York Park, and look for a big group of trash pirates sweeping the river. We have trash bags, and a truck to transport trash back to our dumpster (and recyclables to appropriate locations).
