When businesses start exploring AI, the first question is usually "which tool should we use?" But it's actually the second question you should be asking.
The first is: where does AI actually fit into the way we work?
Start by looking at what frustrates your employees. Where are people spending too much time? What information is hard to find? Where are the bottlenecks? Those pain points are your best starting places—not because AI can solve everything, but because that's where it's most likely to deliver real, measurable value.
Security has to be part of that conversation from day one. Chances are some of your employees are already experimenting with AI on their own, and without guardrails, sensitive customer or company information can easily end up somewhere it shouldn't.
The smart path is making AI part of your broader IT strategy. Work with your provider to establish which tools are approved, what information employees can share, and how your data and access controls need to be configured. Then start with a few focused use cases rather than trying to transform everything at once—early wins build confidence and teach you what AI actually does well in your environment.
You don't need to have it all figured out before you start. You just need a plan for using it productively and securely. If you're not sure where to begin, we can help you figure it out.
