One of the things we’re most proud of at Alice-Louise Press is that we both design and produce our invitations right here in our own studio. From the initial concept to the final impression on our antique letterpresses, we’re personally involved in bringing every detail to life.

We believe wedding invitations should be more than just beautiful paper. They should give your guests a glimpse of the celebration to come, and this suite does just that!

A little romance, a little garden inspiration, and a whole lot of love for the art of printing. 💕

A little letterpress, a little laser cutting, and a whole lot of thoughtful details!

We loved designing this custom bridal shower invitation for Cristina, featuring an intricate lattice-style gatefold that makes a beautiful first impression.

While we often pride ourselves on how much we’re able to design and produce right here in our own studio, there are a few specialty processes we leave to the experts who have the equipment and capabilities we don’t. And we love collaborating with other talented businesses to bring our ideas to life!

For this suite, we designed the custom laser-cut gatefold and partnered with Cards & Pockets to produce it. Once it arrived back at our studio, we added the finishing touches by hand, carefully assembling the soft blush ribbon and our custom die-cut monogram tab to create the perfect closure.

Paired with a classic letterpress invitation, the result is a beautiful combination of texture, craftsmanship, and delicate details. Whether it’s made entirely in-house or with a little help from our trusted partners, it’s always about creating something truly special! 💚

Walter’s morning commute to work as the official shop dog at Alice-Louise Press! 🐾🚗💛

He starts his day excited to head into work, but we’re beginning to think he has a favorite shop… and it’s not ours! 😂

Our sweet neighbors at beehausblooms and Taste of Toledo have been spoiling him with treats and lots of love, and now getting him to come back to his actual job is becoming a bit of a challenge! 🐶🌸

Apparently, being the shop dog comes with some pretty great neighborhood perks! ❤️

It may be feeling like fall here in Ohio, but we’re taking a little trip back to the tropics today. 🌴☀️ Over the past couple of years, we’ve had the opportunity to design and produce so many beautiful invitation suites for weddings throughout South Florida through one of our wonderful retail partners in South Miami.
It’s always fun to design each new order that comes through and bring a little bit of Florida into our Perrysburg studio—from palms and tropical details to custom monograms, beautiful papers, and lots of letterpress. This Miami suite is one of those that we especially loved bringing to life. Even with the leaves changing outside our shop, there always seems to be a little Florida sunshine coming off our presses. 🌴

This custom letterpress wedding invitation suite was one of those projects that challenged us creatively and technically—and made the finished result that much more rewarding. The centerpiece of the design is a custom die-cut, embossed magnolia wrap, created to bring dimension and sculptural detail to the suite. Getting all of those intricate petals and leaves just right was no small feat, but seeing the finished pieces come together made every bit of the process worthwhile.
Throughout the suite, we carried the green into the smallest details, including hand-painted beveled edges on each piece, beautiful letterpress printing, custom shapes, and watercolor illustrations. The result is a suite filled with texture, depth, and thoughtful details that reveal themselves as you look closer. We love projects like this—the ones that push us to figure out how to make an idea possible and remind us why we still love creating with paper after all these years. Designed and handcrafted at Alice-Louise Press.

We had so much fun creating these custom letterpress Save the Dates for a beautiful Florida Keys wedding. Every element was created to set the tone for their coastal celebration. And this is only the beginning… wait until you see the stunning invitation suite we created to follow! 💚 We’ll be sharing that one soon.
There’s something we love about carrying a design story from the very first Save the Date all the way through the invitation suite.

This suite is too much fun. 🌴💌 We loved bringing this completely custom wedding suite to life with letterpress printing, where every impression is pressed into the paper one piece at a time. There’s something extra special about seeing a design go from artwork on a screen to beautifully textured paper coming off our antique presses. It’s those tiny details—the impression you can actually feel, the rich ink, and the craftsmanship behind each piece—that make letterpress so timeless. A colorful, coastal wedding weekend captured on paper. 💚🐚🌊

One of the very best parts of what I do is getting to work with such wonderful clients. 🩵 Every wedding, celebration, and project brings new ideas, new stories, and new people through our doors. I’m continually grateful for the trust our clients place in us to create something for such meaningful moments in their lives.
After all these years, I still love seeing an idea go from a conversation and a few pieces of inspiration to something beautiful coming off the press. But even more than the paper, ink, and little details, it’s the relationships we make along the way that make this work so special. Thank you to every client who has trusted Alice-Louise Press with a little piece of your story. We truly have the most wonderful clients, and I never take that for granted. 🩵

I spent most of the weekend photographing a good number of my invitation suites. I love how each and everyone of them are turning out and can’t wait to share the rest. This is why nobody ever sees or hears from me!
