Last month, we shared how recording engineer Ian Z. Anderson captured the vocals from our Quitr + Friends session. This time, we’re isolating the drums. 🥁

Hear how the N28, two RPQ503s, and 1029 stereo compressor sound on the kit before everything comes together in the full mix.

Ever wondered how the music of Sesame Street is recorded? 🎙️

Music director Bill Sherman and engineer Tyler Hartman are behind the sessions at Studio G Brooklyn, where an eight-piece live band records new material every week.

With 30 to 40 cues moving through the studio, AEA ribbon mics are part of the setup across upright bass, drums, horns, and room capture.
