Missed it? This week, James Impallaria and Kevin Lim walked through an entire commercial flooring job in MeasureSquare CRM.

In the live Q&A chat, one thing kept happening repeatedly: attendees kept pulling the conversation back to their own businesses.

One wanted to know how a vendor invoice would match up with the PO he'd just watched being created. Another asked how her team could bill partially completed work without losing track of what was left.

When Kevin walked through the Field App, the questions turned to crews: how installers clock in from the jobsite, how the office sees where they are, and how photos and daily reports make it back without a phone call.

Those are the moments that matter most to us, because they're not questions about features. They're questions about Tuesday morning, when a crew is on site, a vendor is waiting on a PO, and the GC wants an updated pay app.

It started as a way to manage bids. By the time it launched, it had become something much bigger.

When MeasureSquare CRM was still just an idea, Flooring Foundation was searching for a better way to handle bids. The Flooring Foundation team wanted something cloud-based and easy to use that could connect with their Measure Square takeoffs.

What they found was even better: a chance to help shape it from the ground up.

Flooring Foundation became one of the first contractors to put the platform to work on real jobs. As the bidding tool grew into a full-blown CRM, the team continued to test it and provide feedback, helping shape it into what it is today. What started with testing, troubleshooting, and feedback during development grew into a longstanding partnership that continues today.

We've expanded our Stone Team. Please join us in welcoming Scott, our new Stone Solutions Specialist.

26 years ago, Forrest cut his teeth in his family's stone shop, where he handled a bit of everything: cutting, polishing, installing, scheduling, and selling. Years later, he continued building his knowledge of the trade in Australia, then returned home.

Now at Measure Square, he is deeply connected to the challenges and pain points of stone shops.

"This industry has been good to me, and this is a chance to give back to more than one shop at a time. Stone is a hard business to make money in. If what we build helps shops get through the ups and downs, that matters to me. I also like that this company listens. When a fabricator tells me what is slowing them down, I can bring it straight to the team," Forrest says.

In his role at Measure Square, he bridges the gap between the fabricator and the developer. He is active in ASF, SFA and NSI, and spoke at the ASF Workshop in Salt Lake City this summer. Outside of work, catch him golfing, exploring the outdoors, and challenging opponents to a game of cribbage.
