Most event teams already have plenty of data.

The challenge is using it early enough to influence outcomes.

Too often, event insights live across CRMs, event platforms, spreadsheets, and post-event reports, making strategy feel reactive instead of predictive.

In this guide, we break down how data and intelligence are helping event teams:
💛 Forecast attendance + engagement
💛 Identify high-value audiences
💛 Optimize agendas and content strategy
💛 Make smarter planning decisions before the event begins

As Angela Sadighian, Senior ABX Manager of Corporate Events at 6sense, puts it on one of our podcast episodes:

“We use AI and predictive analytics to help teams see who's in the buying cycle, when to reach out. I think embracing the metrics, embracing that you want your event to be a revenue-generating powerhouse, is just a huge key to success.”

Here's what we keep hearing: "Will AI replace event professionals?"

During our recent webinar hosted by Rachel Moore, Enrique Secanechia-Santos, Enterprise Solutions Engineering Manager at Bizzabo, cut through the noise on this one. His answer? A solid 'NO' — it's actually about AI freeing you to focus on what matters most.

In an era where AI-generated content is everywhere, attendees are craving something that tech can't automate: real human connection. So stop worrying about being replaced, and instead, use AI to automate the repetitive stuff so you can focus on what actually moves the needle.

AI handles the tasks. You handle the connections.

When it comes to AI tools, more options ≠ better results.

At our recent webinar, Nick Lafferty, Founding Marketing Engineer at Profound, shared with host Rachel Moore why the event professionals winning right now aren't the ones trying everything, but the ones who picked one tool and actually mastered it.

His advice? Pick your favorite AI tool, stay up to date with its updates, and stop getting distracted by the next shiny object. The velocity of AI updates is crazy right now, so depth beats breadth every single time.

Start small. Focus deep. Move faster.

What if your event app actually got smarter the more you used it?

At Boldpush's AI for Events Demo Day, Andrew Serfaty, Senior Product Manager at Bizzabo, showed exactly what that looks like with Bizzy.
Here's what stood out:

⭐It gets the nuances. Context matters, so Bizzy knows VP and Vice President aren't different people
⭐Your event data becomes your competitive advantage. Feed it custom instructions, and Bizzy learns what matters to your team
⭐It fills the gaps your team leaves behind, from last-minute logistics to the things Sales always forgets

The community had questions, and we had the answers:

Q: Can Bizzy handle really specific stuff, like a barista location or nearby coffee?
A: Absolutely. You can totally do this with the Event Brain markdown file. It learns whatever you teach it.

Q: Can we set Bizzy up with custom instructions before attendees even arrive?
A: Yes! You can basically teach Bizzy how to answer anything with the markdown file, especially the things your team might forget.

Q: Can it understand the difference between a VP and a Vice President?
A: It can! Bizzy understands context, like the fact that VP and Vice President are the same.

Huge thanks to Julius for bringing the community together, Andrew for the killer demo, and Alon Alroy, CMO & Co-founder, for opening the conversation on what AI in events actually looks like. 🙌

Turns out, a surprise rain squall, skyline views, very generous cocktail pours, and 100 event professionals make for a pretty great night. 🍸

This week, Bizzy After Hours took over NYC for an evening built around connection, community, and stepping out of ex*****on mode for a few hours.
We watched conversations spill so far into the night that another venue eventually had to kick us out. We saw event professionals jump into the photobooth like old friends, compare notes on AI and event impact over cocktails, and somehow immediately bond over weather apps, shipping stress, and whether enough fries had been ordered.

A huge thank you to our incredible panelists Jill Maxwell (CBRE), Sereita Cobbs (ESPN), and Andrea R. Joffe (Nasdaq), and to Antwone Stigall, for leading such a thoughtful, lively conversation on where events are headed next.

And a special thank you to BW Events Tech and Majestic Photobooth for helping us bring the room together.

One of our favorite moments of the night? Our friends from Braindate, who happened to walk by on the High Line while visiting NYC, spotted the event and found their way into the room. Honestly, that felt pretty fitting.

However you found us, we’re glad you did.

Because at the end of the day, the best part of this industry will always be the people in the room. ❤️
