We loved getting to be a part of this amazing organization this weekend. We know that 5000 students will now have what they need to start the school year and we are grateful that we had the opportunity to serve alongside so many amazing volunteers this weekend and be a part of that!

MISSED CONNECTION: Hope you see this.

Conference room Thursday, 2:17 p.m.

I know this is a long shot, but I figured I’d try.

You were sitting near the conference room TV, restarting your laptop for the third time.

I was wearing a Spur IT polo, pretending not to notice that everyone in the office was connected to a Wi-Fi router supplied by the internet company sometime during the Obama administration.

Our eyes met.

Just for a second.

But there was something there.

You looked at me.

I looked at you.

You looked back at the screen and said, “It usually works.”

I’ve thought about that moment ever since.

Was it fate?

Was it destiny?

Or was your computer still trying to install updates from six months ago?

There was something in your eyes I couldn’t shake.

Something that said…

“Our Wi-Fi drops during meetings, nobody knows where the company files are, and the printer only works for Cheryl.”

Maybe I misread the situation.

Maybe you were just trying to get the HDMI cable to cooperate.

But if you’re out there, just know… I felt it too.

I also noticed your Microsoft 365 account didn’t have MFA enabled, three people were sharing the same password, and your backup plan appeared to be “hopefully nothing happens.”

And please don’t tell me your IT guy is someone’s nephew who “knows computers.”

Wherever you are, mystery business owner, I hope you found what you were looking for.

And if what you were looking for was reliable, relatable IT support from people who actually answer the phone…

I was right there.

And now I’m just a click away.

SO PROUD to be a part of this Golf Tournament presented by Daikin Comfort and to be able to help present this check to Metropolitan Ministries! They really do make a difference with families on the edge of homelessness. 💙

This morning, we had the privilege of presenting Metropolitan Ministries with a check for $29,193.57—funds raised through our Charity Golf Tournament presented by Daikin Comfort this past April.
Today, we saw the impact of that generosity come full circle.
This donation would not have been possible without every sponsor, golfer, volunteer, donor, and supporter who believed in our mission. Whether you were a big donor, sponsored a hole, played in the tournament, or volunteered your time—you made this possible.
