Agrocentro’s technical advisors in Guatemala and Honduras spent around 40% of their working time traveling between fields, making continuous crop monitoring challenging.

Agrocentro integrated Crop Monitoringtoring to remotely monitor fields with satellite imagery and vegetation indices. In 2026, the team tracked 83 fields across 472 hectares and 16 crops, helping identify crop stress earlier and prioritize field visits more efficiently.

Satellite monitoring now supports faster, more data-driven decisions across Agrocentro’s operations.

Our forest monitoring project in Portugal reached a new milestone.

In partnership with CIM Coimbra under ESA’s InCubed programme, we delivered updated satellite maps to help local teams manage seasonal wildfire risks.

The updated analysis shows recent changes in forest cover and marks high-risk areas near roads and towns. Local emergency services can now use our precise maps to plan fire prevention and allocate resources where ignition risk is highest.

How can agricultural businesses navigate risks efficiently? It’s one of the main questions for Ukrainian growers and traders today, and it was highlighted prominently at Agro Ukraine Week 2026.

The EOSDA team — Oleksii Shchehliuk, Managing Director; Anna Padun, Head of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships; and Yevgenii Marchenko, Senior Executive, Crop Monitoring Intelligence — attended the event and shared what stood out to them during discussions on risk management and digital agriculture.

🟢 Ukrainian agriculture is under deep pressure from the global sustainability agenda and the risks of the ongoing war. On the one hand, global conversations often focus on long-term sustainability goals such as “Net Zero.” On the other hand, many farmers are facing fundamental challenges: securing fertilizers, fuel, and basic inputs amid extremely volatile conditions. In this environment, digital tools are shifting from a future aspiration to a present-day necessity. Earth Observation and precision analytics are becoming immediate survival tools, helping growers minimize waste and make every scarce resource count.

🟢 For Ukrainian farmers, geopolitical instability, global supply chain disruptions, and the war's direct impacts mean unpredictable fertilizer availability and significant input costs. Growers are forced to make faster, higher-risk operational decisions. Under these conditions, having access to precise field-level data is critical to reducing risks.

🟢 The “road to zero” for Ukrainian agriculture is about more than just meeting distant green targets. The “road to zero” means managing operational risks down to zero. It is about using precision data to ensure stability and navigate a highly constrained economic environment. Digital transformation is the very vehicle that helps farmers survive today and build a resilient foundation for the future.

Let’s connect at Agro Ukraine Week, a major international agricultural event that brings together key stakeholders from Ukraine’s agricultural and food sectors.

The summit’s primary focus is on finding effective solutions for agribusiness development in Ukraine. We believe technology is now essential for agribusiness development — especially when it comes to monitoring large areas of land efficiently.

In the Ukrainian agricultural sector, there is a very clear shift from reacting to short-term challenges to seeking new models of competitiveness. The theme of this year’s Grain Ukraine Conference, “The New Grain Order,” reflects this change.

Anna Padun, Head of Sales at EOSDA, attended Grain Ukraine 2026, one of the key events for the Ukrainian agricultural market.

The conference showed that added value creation and adaptation to climate change are becoming as important for agribusinesses as yield and export volumes. This requires modern technologies, especially tools for precision agriculture.

At EOSDA, we provide our clients with these tools. We create AI-powered satellite intelligence solutions for the agricultural sector to help growers see the full picture of their fields, assess risks, make data-driven decisions, and protect their yields. Many of the challenges facing the Ukrainian agricultural sector are difficult to avoid, but we help growers prepare for them.

The sessions at Grain Ukraine 2026 showed that competitiveness in the agricultural sector today depends on the ability to adapt quickly to change and to see risks before they become losses.

A local industrial development authority in the UAE was struggling to stay up to date across its sites using periodic ground inspections.

We built a satellite monitoring workflow that gave them a continuous, plot-level view of active development areas. We track construction at scale while maintaining an up-to-date view of PAD areas.

We combined medium-resolution imagery for frequent updates with high-resolution imagery for detailed inspections t help our client ensure data accuracy.

Predict crop risks before they turn into financial losses with our Risk Monitoring platform.

In large-scale agribusiness, late reaction to risks means direct margin losses. Current threats such as pests, diseases, weather stress, or water stress often remain invisible at first. However, plant stress starts 3–5 days before the first visual symptoms appear in the field. By the time the problem is visible from the pickup, yield potential is already reduced.

We’re launching a Risk Monitoring platform to help you detect field risks early, before they become losses. Be among the first to try the platform.

🌾 Apply for early access to test automated risk alerts on your own fields. We’ll reach out to selected teams with:

◼️ pilot access to crop risk alerts
◼️ platform or API workflow options
◼️ an opportunity to shape the product before its wider release
