This high-end gaming laptop came in with one major complaint:

Low FPS and severe lag.

At first glance, the specs looked incredible:
✅ RTX 4080 Laptop GPU
✅ Intel Core i9-13980HX

But the real problem appeared during testing.

Even at idle, the CPU was already sitting at 86°C. Once we started a stress test, temperatures immediately climbed to 94°C, triggering thermal throttling and forcing the processor to drop below 1 GHz.

When your CPU is busy protecting itself from heat, gaming performance takes a serious hit.

The surprising part? It still works.
