🔧 FIX IT FRIDAY 🔧
🚫 PIN sign-in disabled? Don’t panic.
If Windows says your sign-in option is disabled because of **failed sign-in attempts or repeated shutdowns**, your PIN may be temporarily unavailable.
Here’s what to do:
1️⃣ Keep the PC **powered on and plugged in for at least 2 hours**
2️⃣ If available, use another sign-in option such as your **password**
3️⃣ After the waiting period, restart and try signing in again
4️⃣ Once you’re back in, you can reset or recreate your PIN if needed
💡 Tech Tip:
Repeated incorrect sign-in attempts or shutdowns can temporarily trigger this Windows security protection.
Still locked out after waiting? Let KJ’s take a look. 💻🔧

🧪 TRY IT THURSDAY 🧪
🛟 Before Windows acts up… give yourself a way back!
Try this today:
1️⃣ Click **Start**
2️⃣ Search **Create a restore point**
3️⃣ Open it and check **Protection Settings**
4️⃣ Make sure protection is **On** for your main Windows drive
5️⃣ Click **Create** to make a restore point
💡 A restore point can help roll back certain system changes if a driver, update, or software installation causes problems.
⚠️ It is NOT a backup of your personal files, so keep those backed up separately.
A few minutes today could save a headache later. 💻🔧

😲 WOW WEDNESDAY 😲
Sometimes technology gives you an error that tells you almost nothing.
“Unable to save” or “unknown problem” can be frustrating, especially when you’re trying to save an important video, file, or project. 📱💻
Before you keep tapping the same button over and over, check the basics: storage space, app updates, internet connection, permissions, and whether the app may be having an issue.
Small error messages can turn into big headaches when you don’t know where to start.
Need help troubleshooting a phone, tablet, laptop, or app issue? Let KJ’s take a look.

💻 TECH TIP TUESDAY 💻
📱 That QR code can send you anywhere.
Before you scan a QR code from a flyer, sign, email, or random sticker, make sure you trust where it came from.
Scammers can use fake QR codes to send you to look-alike websites designed to steal passwords, payment information, or other personal details.
💡 After scanning, check the website address before you log in or enter any information.
If something doesn’t look right, close it.

🔥 MONSTER SPECS MONDAY 🔥
🖥️ WHAT DOES “1ms” OR “5ms” MEAN ON A MONITOR?
That **ms** stands for **milliseconds** and refers to how quickly a pixel can change from one color or shade to another.
⚡ Lower response time can help reduce motion blur and ghosting, especially during fast-moving games and videos.
For example:
🎮 **1ms–2ms** — Popular for fast-paced gaming
💻 **4ms–5ms** — Plenty for everyday work, school, streaming, and casual gaming
💡 Monster Specs Tip:
Response time and refresh rate are NOT the same thing.
**Refresh rate = how often the screen updates**
**Response time = how quickly the pixels change**
So when shopping for a monitor, don’t look at resolution alone. 👀

🔧 FIX IT FRIDAY 🔧
⌚ Apple Watch repair starts with a careful teardown.
Today we’re working on an Apple Watch and focusing on digitizer removal only.
The digitizer is part of the touch system, and removing it takes patience and precision to avoid damaging the display or other components underneath.
🔧 Today’s step:
✅ Carefully separate the digitizer
✅ Protect the display underneath
✅ Prep the watch for the next stage of repair
💡 Tech Tip:
Apple Watch screens are delicate, so rushing the removal process can turn one repair into a much bigger problem.
Would you trust yourself to open an Apple Watch this small? 👀⌚

💻 TECH TIP TUESDAY 💻
🚫 Don’t just yank that USB drive out.
If files are still being copied or saved, unplugging an external drive too soon can interrupt the transfer and may corrupt the file.
💡 Before removing a flash drive or external hard drive, make sure the transfer is finished and use Eject / Safely Remove Hardware when available.
A few extra seconds can save you from a missing or damaged file.
