This week, ABC7NY featured the Talent Connection Job Expo in Bethpage, which brought together hundreds of job seekers with intellectual and developmental disabilities and dozens of local employers, and we were happy to be part of it! It's a powerful reminder of what happens when communities make inclusion a priority. The eVero Outreach team is proud to support the I/DD community through workshops, seminars, and mock interviews that help people build job skills, prepare for interviews, and find meaningful work.

In addition to applying for jobs, attendees could tailor their resumes and have headshots taken.

Our team kept warm this weekend by blazing trails with Eden II Programs! We spent the morning with other runners, walkers, and families in Eisenhower Park for the Blazing Trails 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk for Autism. The morning was filled with costumes, contests, and community spirit - a wonderful way to spend the first Sunday in October, with PSLs on hand!

The eVero Corporation team had a wonderful time at yesterday's Talent Connection Job Expo! We loved meeting everyone, hearing about your interests, and helping guide you as you enter the workforce. A big thank you to our headshot photographer from Zoot Shoot Photographers - Long Island Family Photographer, who took over 40 headshots of attendees throughout the day!
