Mounted this little guy in a restaurant yesterday! Phase one of this large project complete.

"How much does a home theater cost?" is the question we hear first, and the honest answer is: it depends on four things.

1. The room. Size, shape, and whether it is a new build or a conversion.
2. The picture. Projector and screen vs. a large display, and how much light you can control.
3. The sound. Speaker count, in-wall vs. freestanding, and subwoofer placement.
4. The brains. How lighting, shades and control tie together so one remote does it all.

Two rooms that look similar can be very different projects. That is why we walk your space before we put a number on paper, and then we lock that number in.

Want a straight answer for your room? Comment THEATER and we'll reach out.

When you hire 21st Century Audio Video, you get me. 👋

I'm Corby Vickers, the owner. I've spent 30+ years in this industry, and I'm personally involved in every detail of every phase of your project.

✅ The walk-through, where I listen to how you actually live in your space
✅ The design, tailored to your lifestyle and your budget
✅ The wiring and install, the part you'll never see but will always feel
✅ The final setup, so everything is seamless and easy to use
✅ The support after we leave, because I'm still your guy when you need us

No rotating crew of strangers. No handoffs. No disappearing act once the job is done. And the price we bid is the price you pay, even if the job runs long.

That's what it means to work with an owner who stands behind the work.

Most home theater quotes come with a question mark. Will the final bill match the estimate?

Ours does. When we bid your project, that number is your number. If the job runs long, if a wall surprises us, if the schedule slips, the price does not move. Not a sale, not a coupon, not a "limited time" offer. Just a bid we stand behind from the first estimate to the final invoice.

You shouldn't have to chase a discount to feel good about what you're paying.

Thinking about a theater or whole-home AV project in Frisco, Plano, McKinney or Prosper? Ask us about our price-locked bid.

Your backyard should sound as good as it looks. 🎶

We recently wrapped up an outdoor audio installation for a North Texas family who wanted music by the pool without sacrificing the look of their space.

The result? Weather-resistant speakers mounted discreetly on the fence, paired with string lights for ambiance, and a system they control right from their phone. No visible wires. No clutter. Just seamless sound that fills the whole backyard.

This is what "tailored to your lifestyle" looks like when it meets the outdoors.

Here's the truth most people get wrong about smart homes: it's not about how many devices you have. It's about how well they work together. 💡

We've walked into plenty of homes where someone bought great gear — a nice receiver, quality speakers, a smart thermostat, outdoor audio — but it's all running on separate apps, separate remotes, and separate logic. The result? A system that's supposed to make life easier but ends up being a daily frustration.

What's in this rack? A clean, organized system built around URC Total Control, Luxul network, Marantz receivers, Wattbox power management, and a JVC Projector— all integrated so the homeowner runs everything from one interface. No juggling five apps to watch a movie. No confusion about which remote does what.

That's what professional integration looks like. Every component chosen for a reason, every connection purposeful, and the whole thing tailored to how this family actually lives.

After 30+ years of doing this, I can tell you: the best technology is the kind you never have to think twice about. Seamless. Easy to use. Future-ready.

Another media room wrapped up today. Give us a call for your media room project. 972-757-4002

We’ve taken another media room to a new level. This project was wired by some one else(they mark their territory with stickers) but we changed it up a bit. First we moved the speakers that were misaligned on the flat ceiling and put them in more ideal listening positions. Then we retro fit 7 light strips including around the screen. All located in a rack in the closet with Savant Automation calling the shots. 7 Martin Logan speakers fed by a Denon receiver and one SVS Sub shaken things up quite a bit! Give us a call 972-757-4002.
