“I generated the beat and hook in Suno until it hit the way I wanted. Then I took the visuals into Luma, where I could actually control the design instead of just accepting whatever came out. The part I refused to give up was the performance, the lip sync, the camera work, the energy. That’s still me and Nancy. I think that’s the balance: let me control the parts I want and let the system fill in the parts I’m not focused on. Nancy, Nancy, Nancy on repeat.” - Jieyi Lee

Every image in Layers comes apart into independent elements: objects, text, backgrounds.

Extract exactly the one you want with a custom prompt. Reposition it precisely. Restyle it, resize it, reorder it. Then recompose the scene, untouched elements exactly as they were.

“I’m actually playing the song and I wrote the thing. It’s basically a backing track that is generated with ElevenLabs and then I was just kind of improvising half-written on top of the track but making the thing. I replaced myself with a character and prompted it to stay true to all the cinematography and all the guitar playing, all the motion.” Tony Hou
