Security Advisory: Microsoft Defender False Positive Alert

Golden Five has identified a widespread issue where Microsoft Defender is incorrectly flagging legitimate system components as:

“Trojan:Win32/Cerdigent.A!dha”

This is NOT a real malware threat, but a result of a faulty security intelligence update.

What’s happening?
* Multiple devices triggering high-severity alerts
* Trusted certificates mistakenly flagged
* No actual compromise or attack activity

What should you do?
* Update Microsoft Defender immediately
* Verify certificate store if impacted
* Mark alerts as false positives
