Targeted Individual Connections (TIC) regrets to inform our community that, since the launch of TIC Wireless, members of our cybersecurity team have experienced ongoing health and well-being challenges that have affected their overall availability and capacity to continue in their roles. In light of these circumstances, and with the support of Targeted Individual Connections, the decision has been made to discontinue the dedicated cybersecurity department of TIC Wireless.
For context, three members of Targeted Individual Connections hold formal cybersecurity degrees and have overseen the cybersecurity operations of TIC Wireless since its launch. Due to recent personal and health-related factors impacting their availability, they are no longer able to consistently dedicate the necessary time and attention required to fulfill cybersecurity responsibilities.
TIC Wireless itself remains active. We will continue to provide wireless services and offer our existing phone plans. The primary change is the discontinuation of a separate cybersecurity department, and TIC Wireless will no longer be represented as having a dedicated internal cybersecurity team.
While we are no longer able to maintain a dedicated cybersecurity department, we remain committed to protecting customer data. We do not sell personal data. Under existing agreements with our telecommunications partners, Targeted Individual Connections retains ownership of customer data associated with TIC Wireless, including data related to wireless services.
For clarity, Targeted Individual Connections is the owner of TIC Wireless. TIC Wireless was created by Targeted Individuals for Targeted Individuals, and our commitment to serving our community remains unchanged. We appreciate the continued support of our customers and will remain focused on providing reliable and affordable wireless service.
