During our visit to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, the Governful team had a great conversation with John Robert Simelum, Director’s Advisor, whose portfolio covers the Republic of Korea, Papua New Guinea, Sri Lanka, Taipei, China, Uzbekistan, Vanuatu, and Vietnam, together with U.S. Trade Specialist Michael Mia.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives on digital transformation, regional opportunities, and how technology can support stronger and more connected governments.

Advancing Digital Government Through Strategic Collaboration 🌏

During our visit to the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila, the Governful team, together with U.S. Trade Specialist Mr. Michael Mia, had the privilege of meeting with Ambassador Robert W. Sweeney.

Our discussion explored AI-enabled digital government, fiscal modernization, and opportunities to strengthen collaboration supporting governments across the Philippines, the Pacific, and beyond.

Governful is once again joining PITAA, this time, in Palau, and connecting with Papua New Guinea Internal Revenue Commission (PNG IRC), headed by Commissioner Sam Loi, and Mr. Petereric Andrew, BTO Head of the Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG).

Going Live with Digital Revenue Administration in Bougainville 🇵🇬

Another major milestone for Governful and the Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG).

Our team recently updated His Excellency, President Ishmael Toroama and the Chief Secretary & Head of Bougainville Public Service, Mr. Kearnneth Nanei of the Autonomous Region of Bougainville, sharing the latest progress of the Revenue Acceleration Information System (RAIS).

On the same day, Governful and the Bougainville Tax Office (BTO) successfully executed a live production session, with BTO officers actively using RAIS in a real operational environment.

This marks an important step from implementation to live operations advancing a more efficient, transparent, and digitally enabled revenue administration in Bougainville.

Digital transformation isn’t just being planned. It’s going live.
