EQUIPMENT SPOTLIGHT: Analog Way Aquilon

Think of it as the control center for everything that appears on screen at a live event. It takes in multiple video sources — cameras, graphics, and other content — and switches between them instantly and cleanly, in true 4K resolution, so there's no lag, glitch, or mismatched quality between sources.

For larger events, our team relies on a video processor and switcher that scales with the production. Multiple units can be linked together to cover larger events with more screens or sources, without swapping out equipment mid-project.

This is the technology our team relies on for smoother transitions, sharper visuals, and fewer technical surprises on show day.

Last Saturday, GVL Fit Fest brought a full day of workouts, live DJs, and local wellness vendors to Fluor Field.

The program included yoga, HIIT, running and biking, pickleball, and recovery zones, all designed to make fitness inclusive and approachable for every level. The AVL Solutions team provided the stage and audio system, ensuring instructors and live performances could be heard clearly across the field.

Thank you to DJ Zarr and Maddi Reese for their performances, and to the GVL Fit Fest organizers for the opportunity to support a local event focused on health, wellness, and community.

Fall for Greenville starts tomorroww, and we're counting down the minutes. Local bands, food vendors, and community. It's one of our favorite weekends of the year, and our team is ready to make every stage look and sound its best. Come find us downtown this weekend!

Golf, music and community, all in support of local children and military families. Thank you to Green Valley Country Club for trusting our team with staging, audio, and lighting for its first annual Golf & Benefit Concert featuring LOCASH. Together, the event raised more than $30,000 for the Meyer Center for Special Children and Folds of Honor – Palmetto State Chapter.

Zack Cantrell has spent more than a decade in audio, video, and lighting as both a musician and an engineer. His career began in 2012, designing sound systems for high school marching bands. From there, he spent several years as lead AV technician for Easley High School's auditorium before studying music at Winthrop University and computer engineering at Clemson University, all while performing with the Clemson band. He's also performed twice as a professional brass musician at New York City's world-renowned Carnegie Hall.

His live production résumé includes mixing at Lucas Oil Stadium, engineering for state and world championship-winning performing groups, and serving as a lead contract sound engineer for Elevation Church. He also founded his own AVL company, which grew into a full-service business serving clients across the Eastern U.S. This year, Zachary made the decision to return his focus to the part of the industry he loves most, live production, joining the AVL Solutions team to bring that full circle.

We're looking forward to Fall for Greenville this October 9-11! It's an event we love being part of every year, bringing live music, food, and community together in the heart of downtown. From the main stages to the smaller sets, we're proud to help make sure every performance sounds just right. This year, we're debuting new lighting and audio equipment across the stages, and we can't wait for you to see and hear the difference. Stay tuned as we gear up for another great weekend.
