We wanted to share with you an upcoming event in our community! Written and directed by one of Creative Washtenaw’s board members, Emilio Rodriguez, this performance will have a live band that will feature some SMTD students that will also be performing at our pARTy!

Tomorrow we have WDET 101.9FM in the house for their Sounds of Detroit show featuring a musical showcase of Detroit Tiny Desk Contest talent.

- Gates open at 6 p.m. and music starts promptly at 7 p.m.
- There will be food and beverages for purchase on site. No outside food or beverage is permitted.
- This event will take place outdoors, in a covered area and will be rain or shine. There is seating on site.

We have missed spending the summer at New Center Park but we are very excited to see what it's future holds!

🌳Big things are happening at Detroit’s New Center Park. This season, we're making updates to improve the park you know and love–just for you! While we’re taking a break from Movie Nights this summer as our assessment begins, it’s all part of building a better, more vibrant space for the future.

But never fear! The beat goes on🎶!
