Arrillaga Student Center is a beautiful example of a building designed around the well-being of those who use the space and the environment that surrounds it. From architecture to material choices, the student center reflects the school’s commitment to their students and staff, cultural appreciation, and sustainability.

Throughout the center, soaring rooflines and high ceilings create bright, open spaces where lighting plays an important role in both comfort and design. Kirlin’s 4” Symphony Open Appearance High Output Downlights provide powerful, comfortable illumination while helping accentuate the building’s architectural forms and materials.

We are proud that we had the opportunity to help light this stunning performing arts theater. As the need for advanced imaging technology continues to expand across healthcare facilities, MRI environments are evolving right alongside it. During the 2025 Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center Westchester expansion, Kirlin provided custom MRI-safe lighting solutions for MRI suites designed to support both clinical performance and patient comfort.

Each suite features 12 MRI downlights paired with three 10-foot MRI linear slot fixtures positioned above the patient transfer table. The design team seamlessly integrated the linear fixtures into a wood-paneled ceiling grid, using custom fl**ge finishes to create a cohesive appearance that complements the space’s aesthetic. By combining linear and point-source illumination, the result is a balanced lighting environment that enhances visual interest while helping create a more comfortable experience for patients undergoing imaging procedures.
