Ignite Optics is looking for Fiber Optic Splicing Technicians; TX, AZ & CO!

Full Job Description;
Position: Fiber Splicing Technician
Full-time, Hourly
Splicing FTTH/SFU, Mainline, last mile.

Splicer will be splicing on FTTx projects in cabinets, NID(s), closets, Handholes, Aerial, and patch panels.

Qualifications:
Fiber Splicer must have proven 3 years of fiber splicing and testing experience. Fully proficient with final testing & troubleshooting including; OTDR functionality, trace reporting, power meters, and reading of trace files.
Providing all required invoicing documentation pictures, test results maps and putting them together in Customers requested format as a final Close Out Package. *Ribbon splicing experience is a plus!

Must have a willingness to travel (not a road warrior) & have a valid driver’s license.

Schedule: Telecom industry hours…
High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Drug & background test: (Required)
