We'll also discuss when a Windows Clean Boot can help determine whether third-party programs or services are slowing down or interfering with your PC.
๐งน HOW TO PERFORM A WINDOWS CLEAN BOOT
We'll walk through using MSCONFIG and Task Manager to temporarily disable non-Microsoft services and startup applications so you can troubleshoot possible software conflicts.
โ ๏ธ We'll also explain why you should select Hide all Microsoft services before disabling services.
๐ ๏ธ SFC /SCANNOW โ SYSTEM FILE CHECKER
Could corrupted Windows system files be causing your problem?
We'll demonstrate the Windows System File Checker:
sfc /scannow
and explain when you might consider using it.

We'll also demonstrate:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
and explain how DISM can repair corruption in the Windows component store used to maintain and repair Windows.

We'll discuss situations where system-file corruption could be worth investigating, including:
