Cities are still talking about lead in drinking water, and now, there is a cost-effective solution.
 
Meet NOAH System, an mHUB member and mHUB Ventures portfolio company developing retrofit technology that prevents lead from entering drinking water.
 
Founded by Michael Ramos and Isidro Hurtado, NOAH System uses automated micro-flushes to keep water moving through existing fountains and sinks, helping reduce stagnation and access to safe drinking water in schools and community spaces.

Building the Deep Tech Labs at mHUB is about creating the infrastructure needed for the next generation of hard tech innovation.
 
Over the past year, general office space has been transformed into state-of-the-art research and development labs designed to support emerging technologies, including quantum.
 
The buildout included:
🔌 Upgraded electrical infrastructure to support advanced equipment and increased technical capacity.
🏗️ A new 4,000-pound rooftop HVAC unit to provide the environmental controls required for research, testing, and product development.
❄️ 50 tons of HVAC cooling capacity.
💧 120 kW of water cooling capacity at 23 gallons per minute and 50 PSI.
📉 Vibration performance below VC-B on vibration analysis.
⚛️ Three dilution refrigerators capable of reaching -273.14°C.
🧪 More than $15M in additional equipment and infrastructure.

Applications are now open for the next mHUB Energy Tech Accelerator, which will focus on technologies advancing the compute–energy nexus.

In partnership with Equinix Foundation, Generac, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Foundation , Marmon, and Salesforce, and with support from The Rockefeller Foundation, the next mHUB accelerator is seeking startups advancing data center efficiency, grid and infrastructure resilience, and sustainable energy systems.

As AI and digital technology continue to scale, the demand for smarter, more resilient energy and compute infrastructure has never been greater.

Selected startups will receive:
⚡$200,000 initial investment from mHUB Ventures
⚡Access to mHUB’s prototyping labs and technical resources
⚡Dedicated mentorship and expert-led programming

mHUB welcomes Jason Coleman as Executive Director of its incubator.

In this role, Coleman will lead mHUB’s incubator strategy, advancing programs, partnerships, and resources that help early-stage hard tech startups move from concept to commercialization.

A mechanical engineer by training, Coleman brings experience across engineering, product development, nonprofit leadership, and community-building, including leadership roles at Project SYNCERE, BAE Systems, and Motorola.

As hardtech innovation continues to accelerate across energy, healthcare, manufacturing, sustainability, and more, Coleman will play a key role in strengthening the resources, technical support, and founder pathways that power mHUB’s incubator community.
