The best small business homepages don't just look clean. They prove the business can do the work.

Reviews near the services they describe, client results visible without scrolling forever, and a "here's who we've worked with" section that answers the question every cold visitor is asking.

Most homepages skip all of it. The shape is familiar: hero, service content, a couple images, another CTA at the bottom, and nothing in between that proves anything.

If visitors are landing but inquiries are soft, missing trust signals are almost always the gap.

DM me "TRUST" and I'll show you what's missing.

A site that's easy to use is doing quiet conversion work every single day.

Readable text, buttons you can actually hit on a phone, and forms that don't fight you on the way to "submit." None of that's flashy, but it's the difference between a visitor reaching out and a visitor giving up.

Most owners hear "accessibility" and think compliance checklist. Buyers don't think about it at all. They just leave when something's annoying.

If your site looks fine but inquiries are inconsistent, this is usually where it's leaking.

DM me "ACCESS" and I'll run a quick usability pass on your key pages.

A generic services page quietly kills conversion.

Most are built for the owner, not the buyer. One big page, broad bullets, no clear path to whatever the visitor actually needs.

So they skim, can't find themselves, and leave. You won't know it happened.

If every buyer is landing on the same generic page, you're asking them to do your sorting for you. They won't.

DM me "PAGES" and I'll show you how to structure it so buyers find their answer fast.

If your homepage needs explaining, it is not working.

Generic headline. Three buttons. Big paragraph that says nothing.

A stranger lands on your page right now. Five seconds. Do they know what to do?

If you had to think about it, that is the leak. DM me "CTA" and I will show you exactly where.

Most contact forms are built like nobody's ever used a phone.

If your contact form needs perfect patience and two thumbs to complete, your website is not helping your business. It is filtering out buyers.

Be honest. If a prospect opened your form right now, would they finish it. Or quit.

Drop yes or no below. If it is not an easy yes, DM me "FORM" and I will tell you exactly where the friction is.

Many business websites exist. Very few work.

You wouldn't believe yours is one of them. Site looks fine, loads fine, phone number's right there. But is your phone ringing? Are you giving that person a reason to call you? Most business sites don't and people leave.

I see this a lot and it's not a design problem. It's a structural one. Are you gonna solve it before your competitor does?

On a scale of 1-10, how well does your site turn visitors into inquiries? Drop your number below.

💥 A business owner had his website go down on a Friday afternoon. His developer was unreachable. Hosting company said open a ticket. Nobody owned the problem.

He spent the weekend offline with no answers.

I work differently. One point of contact. Everything I build, I back. When something breaks, I'm already on it.

Be honest, if your site went down this weekend, do you know exactly who you'd call? Yes or no. If it's not an easy yes, DM me "SUPPORT" and let's chat.

Your website loads in 6 seconds. You already lost that lead.

Most owners don't know how slow their site actually is. They checked it once, on office WiFi, and moved on.

That's not how customers find you. They're on their phone, in a parking lot in Hixson or between stops in East Brainerd, on a patchy signal. If the page isn't up in 3 seconds, they're gone. Not frustrated. Just gone. The next result on their screen gets the call.

I see this constantly: a site that looks completely fine but performs like it's on a 2010 connection the moment you take it off fast WiFi. That's not a design problem. It's a construction problem. A site built to the right standard loads fast on any device, any connection, every time.

Your competitor's site might already be there.

On a scale of 1-10, how confident are you that your site loads in under 3 seconds on mobile? Drop your number below. Anything under a 9, DM me "SPEED" and I'll run the check for free.

🚨 NEW BLOG POST

That lead didn't go to a better company. It went to whoever followed up first.

If you've ever watched an inquiry go cold because the day got away from you, you already know the problem. Leads scattered across an inbox, a spreadsheet, and memory don't survive consistent follow-up.

New on the blog: the signs your business needs a CRM, and what to look for in a system that actually fits the way you work.

If you are still managing leads in an inbox or spreadsheet, this guide explains when a business needs a CRM and what it actually fixes.
