Going to church today matters. But what happens when we leave matters too.

We can sing the songs.

Hear the sermon.

Read the Scripture.

Pray.

And then walk out the doors unchanged.

Jesus didn't call us simply to attend.

He called us to follow Him.

That means tomorrow at work.

At home with our families.

When someone frustrates us.

When we see someone who needs help.

When nobody is watching.

📖 "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says."
— James 1:22

Question: What's one thing you can take from church today and actually live out this week?

🙏 Don't just hear God's Word today. Take it with you tomorrow.

Sometimes we ask God to open a door while we're doing nothing to prepare ourselves to walk through it.

Praying matters.

But so does preparation.

If you're praying for an opportunity, prepare for it.

If you're praying to be used by God, become someone He can trust with more responsibility.

If you're praying for wisdom, spend time in His Word.

If you're praying for change, be willing to change.

We can't control when God opens a door.

But we can decide who we'll be when it opens.

📖 "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord."

Before the world gets your attention this morning, give God yours.

Before the news.

Before Facebook.

Before the emails.

Before worrying about everything you need to accomplish today.

Take a few minutes and talk to God.

Thank Him for another morning.

Ask Him for wisdom.

Ask Him to guide your decisions.

Ask Him to help you recognize someone who needs you today.

You don't know what this day will bring.

But you know Who you're walking into it with.

📖 "In the morning, Lord, You hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before You and wait expectantly."
— Psalm 5:3

Think about how many days you once thought, "I don't know how I'm going to get through this."

And yet, here you are.

Not because every problem disappeared.

Not because everything went according to plan.

But because somehow, one day at a time, God gave you enough strength for the day in front of you.

So if you're looking at something difficult today, remember:

You've seen God's faithfulness before.

You don't need tomorrow's strength today.

You need enough for today.

And you can ask God for it.

📖 "As your days, so shall your strength be."
