Setting up Intune? Avoid the enrollment mistake that locks you out later.

The trap: rolling out device compliance and conditional access policies before you've enrolled and tested with a pilot group.

Flip one wrong setting org-wide and you can lock users — sometimes admins — out of the very devices you're trying to manage.

Do this instead:

→ Pilot with a small test group first
→ Stage compliance policies before enforcing conditional access
→ Keep a break-glass admin account excluded from the policies

Rollouts should be boring. Save this so yours is.

Most Dynamics 365 rollouts over-customize too early. Do this first.

The temptation is to bend Dynamics to match every existing process on day one. That's how you end up with a fragile, expensive system nobody can upgrade.

Better sequence:

→ Connect Sales and Customer Service on standard configuration first
→ Let the team actually use it for a few weeks
→ Then customize only where real usage proves the need

Half the “must-have” customizations disappear once people work in the real thing.

This tiny Power Automate setting stops flows from firing when they shouldn't.

The problem: your flow triggers on every item change — including the ones you don't care about. Now you've got noise, wasted runs, and sometimes chaos.

The fix: trigger conditions.

Add an expression so the flow only runs when a condition is actually met — e.g. only when Status equals “Approved,” not on every edit.

One expression turns a chatty, unreliable flow into a precise one.
