Design Edge president, Matt Nuccio, joined Steve Greenberg at the NHS: Concept to Commerce show in Las Vegas, along with fellow United Inventors Association (UIA) members Carmine Denisco and Joelle Flynn, plus Chris Berry, to see if a room full of invention people could figure out the mystery product.

Design Edge is proud to congratulate our CEO and Creative Director, Matt Nuccio, on receiving an Award of Appreciation from IFIA for his service as a jury member at the 2026 Silicon Valley International Invention Festival (SVIIF).

It was an incredible event bringing together inventors and innovators from more than 30 countries, with support from WIPO, the United Nations, Google, and the United Inventors Association (UIA).

Congratulations to Matt and everyone who made SVIIF 2026 such a success!

It’s always rewarding to see a product we’ve developed make it to retail.

Flip Pro started as an idea and, through product development, engineering, branding, packaging, and licensing, became the exciting stunt bike you see today.

At Design Edge, we love helping inventors and companies transform great ideas into market-ready products—and seeing them succeed is the best part of what we do.

The excitement doesn’t stop here. The Flip Pro line is being significantly expanded for the next series, with new bikes, accessories, stunt sets, and even more ways to play. We can’t wait to share what’s coming next!

Bringing a product to market has always been about more than creating a great idea.

Today, successful product development also means designing with manufacturing, freight, logistics, inventory planning, and retail pricing in mind. Small decisions made early in development can have a significant impact on a product's success once it reaches the shelf.

We are incredibly proud to share that, along with our partners at The Play Initiative, we have donated hundreds of toys to Island Harvest Food Bank in memory of Barbara Konigsberg.

Honoring her memory through a contribution that brings comfort and joy to children and families feels especially meaningful.

Island Harvest is one of Long Island’s leading hunger-relief organizations, working tirelessly to support children, families, seniors, veterans, and anyone facing food insecurity. Beyond providing food assistance, they work throughout the community to help families in need and bring hope to so many across Long Island.

We are grateful for the opportunity to support their mission while celebrating Barbara’s legacy of compassion, generosity, and caring for others.

Excited to share a recent feature highlighting the work we’re doing at Design Edge and our collaboration with Make48.

For over 30 years, Design Edge has been behind some of the world’s most recognized toys, partnering with companies like Mattel, Hasbro, and Spin Master. What continues to drive us is the same mindset we started with—making, experimenting, and solving problems in ways that resonate with consumers.

Through the Make48 Classroom Experience, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor the next generation of inventors as they tackle one of the fastest-growing categories in our industry: MESH (Mental, Emotional, Social, Health) toys. The goal isn’t just to create something fun—it’s to design products that deliver real value, meaningful interaction, and a reason for kids to come back again and again.

What makes this program special is how closely it mirrors the real world. These students aren’t just building prototypes—they’re developing sell sheets, crafting pitches, and learning how to position an idea in the market. Because great ideas only matter if they can live on shelf and connect with consumers.

One thing I always emphasize: this industry isn’t just about creativity. It’s about making things, understanding the market, and figuring it out as you go.
