Your team just paid a premium for NPU-equipped AI PCs.

Do you actually know if those chips are being used, by which apps, or on which machines?

Most IT teams don't. They're taking the vendor's word for it.

Stratusphere UX v6.7.1 changes that. It now collects real usage and performance data from NPUs across the estate, so you can measure AI-capable hardware instead of assuming it's earning its keep.

The release also adds a few other things worth knowing about:

Custom Dashboards, so admins can build views by data source and widget, with a dedicated role that gives service desk staff or execs the Overview tab only, no console access needed.

Amazon DCV support, which rounds out protocol coverage across RDP, ICA/HDX, PCoIP, Blast, and FRAME. One tool now covers Citrix, Omnissa Horizon, AVD, and AWS environments.

Deeper CommandCTRL integration, so support engineers can jump from historical evidence straight into a live session on the same machine.

As CTO Jason Mattox put it: you can't manage what you don't measure, and AI-enabled endpoints shouldn't be the exception.

Milwaukee gets three days of vendor-agnostic EUC talk starting Sept. 28.

EUC World Amplify runs through Oct. 1 at the Baird Center, and Liquidware is back as a Premier sponsor.

Two of our own are on the agenda. Jason E. Smith presents Tuesday on where AVD and Windows 365 adoption is actually heading, now that enterprises are moving past task workers and call centers into full knowledge worker deployments. Jack Smith joins a panel Wednesday on user experience monitoring alongside speakers from Citrix and Omnissa.

If you're wrestling with AVD or Windows 365 adoption, rethinking your platform mix, or just want to compare notes before the show floor gets loud, let's put time on the calendar.

"We know we're moving to a cloud desktop. We just can't agree on whether it should be AVD or Windows 365."

That's the opening line of nearly every conversation our team has with IT leaders right now. And "it depends" is the honest answer, but it's not a useful one when you're the person who has to make the call.

The real answer depends on your workloads, your app footprint, your user types, and what you're migrating from. Call centers tend to favor AVD. Shift workers with a handful of apps often do better on Windows 365 Flex. Citrix or Omnissa migrations frequently land somewhere in between.

We built a nine-question assessment that weighs those signals and gives you a straight verdict: AVD, Windows 365, or a hybrid, along with the reasoning and a readiness score.

No call required. No pitch. Just the answer our engineers would give you after looking at your environment.

A manufacturing company had 5,000 devices flagged for replacement. On paper, they needed new hardware.

We ran an audit with Stratusphere UX to see what was actually happening on those machines. Turns out 80% of them weren't worn out at all, they were being weighed down by inefficient processes running underneath, not hardware failure.

Once those inefficiencies were addressed, most of that fleet kept running well for another year or more. At $500 a replacement, that's roughly $2 million saved for every extra year those machines stayed in service.

Most hardware refresh decisions are really software problems wearing a hardware costume. Worth checking which one you're actually solving before you sign the PO.

Registry keys, GPOs, printers, app settings: managing all of it usually means scripting everything together by hand before any of it works.

That's fine until a teammate needs to help manage it too, and now they're learning your scripts from scratch.

In this clip from our webinar on moving off Ivanti Workspace Control, we walk through how a single console brings it all together, from the context engine to app assignment, without turning your team into script writers.

With IWC reaching end-of-life in December, it's worth seeing what replacing it actually looks like. Full session linked below, including our conversation with former Ivanti Customer Support Manager Danny Lenting on the biggest differences between the two platforms.

Packaging three apps usually eats an afternoon. Doing it live, in 30 minutes, in front of an audience? That's a different level of confidence in your tooling.

This week, Jason E. Smith and Jack Smith are doing exactly that. No slides pretending to be a demo. Live FlexApp packaging, start to finish, on three or more apps.

If you've ever sat through a "demo" that was really just screenshots, this one's built to be the opposite.

Maintaining base images for 300 applications is hard enough on one platform. Sunstate Equipment was doing it across two: Citrix for field locations with low bandwidth, and on-prem PCs everywhere else.

Every new app meant touching both environments. Every update meant image sprawl. And their field teams, working in rough, remote conditions, still needed reliable access to their full application catalog.

Sunstate moved to Citrix Cloud Services on Azure and layered FlexApp on top, packaging applications separately from the base image so they could be delivered on demand, on any platform, without manual installs or image rot.

The result, in their own words from Senior Network Engineer Tom Strzyzewski: "I love that Liquidware Essentials gives me the ability to do everything I need to do for desktops in one place."

Complex, multi-platform environments do not have to mean complex application management.
