At first glance, 𝗕𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗞 appears as a simple monolithic form.

A raw geometric object inspired by Brutalist architecture.

Look a little closer and you'll discover a layered construction where each material serves a distinct purpose.

Hand-layered microcement creates the brutalist surface that defines the Art Brutalist Collection.

Beneath it lies a 3D-printed carbon-reinforced PETG structure that forms the foundation of the enclosure.

Integrated within is a 3D-printed acoustic lining designed to help manage internal reflections.

Three layers.
Three different materials.
One purpose.

To create a sound object that is modern in its construction and stark in appearance.

We spoke about how Decibelist started, from a personal experiment to reimagining what speakers could be.

I also shared how my first major pop-up at Boutiques Singapore changed everything.
It was the first time our Art Speakers met an audience at that scale.

Not just something you hear.
But something you live with.

We touched on the tension between art and function, and why I’ve chosen to build Decibelist as a craft-led, made-to-order brand rather than mass-scaling it traditionally.

It’s a different path, but one that feels right.
