A recent investigation by China Central Television (CCTV) found that certain recalled power banks contained defective battery cells contaminated by metallic particles, highlighting weaknesses in manufacturing governance and supply chain supervision.
📢 Brands identified as using cells from the affected supplier Apex (Wuxi) Co. (AMPX WUXI):
ROMOSS – 490,000 power banks recalled
Anker – 710,000 power banks recalled
Ugreen – no recall done yet
Xiaomi – no recall done yet
Baseus – no recall done yet
