Sessions end. That is the problem.

A Specialist doing real work has to carry what it learned into the next conversation, and the one after that. Without it, every session starts from nothing and the same context gets paid for twice.

So memory is what we are building into ALMA right now. Not storing everything, which is slow and expensive, but keeping what matters and knowing the difference.

Speed, cost, and the quality of the answer. Memory is where those three argue with each other, and settling that argument is most of the work.

We will keep sharing our progress as we build: http://reeinvent.com/alma

Better CI/CD flows. Stronger validation. Security checks that run on their own. Clearer development workflows. Shared context so the tools actually understand the codebase.

Not one of those is an AI feature. Every one of them is an improvement we would have wanted with no agents involved at all.

What agents changed is the deadline. At the speed they work, a weak pipeline stops being debt you schedule for later and becomes the thing standing between you and using them at all.

So the goal was never to produce more code. It was to build an environment where more of the output is verified before a human is asked to look.

Not replacing good engineering practices with AI. Strengthening them so agents can work inside them reliably.

We are implementing agentic development for one of our clients, and the first surprise was which part turned out to be hard.

Not adoption. The tools are already everywhere, and most of our developers have used agentic AI daily for a while now. Getting agents to write code was never the problem.

The problem is knowing which of that code you can trust.

So the whole first phase went into a single question: how much of what an agent produces can be proven safe before a person ever opens it? Human review still happens. It happens last now, not first.

Breakfast Club returns to Malmö on September 25: The Future-Ready Organization.

AI and automation are changing how work gets done faster than most companies can reorganize around it. Being future-ready is not about owning the most technology. It is about changing how you operate, repeatedly, without breaking.

We are bringing Helene von Reis and Jan Bosch, senior decision-makers from across the region into one room for a morning of sharp, honest conversation about leading through the fastest technology shift in history.

Hosted by Reeinvent, System Verification and CodeScene.

Our engineers sit together in Sarajevo, same office, same hours, most of them here for years.

It is the reason we can promise a Nordic client a full working day and mean it. A team that stays is the hardest thing to build in this business and the easiest to lose. This one is ours.

The Future-Ready Organization is coming to Malmö.

Helene von Reis and Jan Bosch join us to explore what it really takes to build organizations ready for what’s next, from culture and leadership to software, data and AI.

September 25, The Point, Malmö. Hosted by Reeinvent, System Verification and CodeScene.

Our speakers for The Future-Ready Organization are: Elin Helene von Reis, Founder and CEO of Hevon AB, and Jan Bosch, Professor and Director of Software Center.

Helene von Reis spent three decades leading large organizations inside IKEA across Sweden, China, Japan and the US, including as President and CEO of IKEA Japan. Through Hevon she now advises leaders on cultural intelligence and on running transformation across borders. Her angle on future-ready is the one most companies underestimate: the role our cultural background plays, how it shapes trust and decision making in global teams.

Jan Bosch directs Software Center, a partner-funded collaboration between more than 15 large European companies, among them Ericsson, Volvo Cars, Volvo Trucks, Saab, Scania, Siemens and Bosch, and five universities working on digitalization. He is Professor at Chalmers University of Technology and Professor of AI Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, and was previously VP of Engineering Process at Intuit and head of Nokia Research Center's software laboratory. He works on how companies actually adopt software, data and AI at scale, rather than on pilots that never ship.

The technology is rarely the hard part. The people are where it breaks or holds.

September 25, The Point, Malmö. Hosted by Reeinvent, System Verification and CodeScene.

Not a chatbot, not a general assistant. A Specialist owns one job, and several of them become an AI Workforce.
