Mingus Quintet with Dan D'Agostino | Master Audio Systems in Chile. Nice demo Audio Reference Latam 👌

"We felt we were hearing something that was very true to the character of Marten." That was Morris Choi of Cotton Audio on first pairing EMM Labs Inc. electronics with Coltrane.

For the second reference system, the question became what would happen with two pairs of amplifiers driving Mingus Orchestra.

"It wasn't simply about playing louder or creating more power. The scale, control and ease of the whole system moved to another level."

Our distributor in South Korea, Cotton Audio, has built a second reference system, this time around Mingus Orchestra. Two pairs of EMM Labs Inc. amplifiers, an Innuos Nazaré source and Jorma Paragon cabling throughout, in a room of 8.5 by 9 metres in Seoul.

"Our job isn't to reinvent that sound. Our job is to reproduce that balance in a real room."

We talked to Morris Choi, CEO of Cotton Audio, about how the system came together and why he doesn't think of it as finished.
