Eid ul Adha Mubarak from the ZAPTA Technologies Family

لَن يَنَالَ اللَّهَ لُحُومُهَا وَلَا دِمَاؤُهَا وَلَٰكِن يَنَالُهُ التَّقْوَىٰ مِنكُمْ

“Neither their meat nor their blood reaches Allah, but what reaches Him is your taqwa (piety).” — Surah Al-Hajj (22:37)

On this blessed occasion of Eid ul Adha 2026, we extend our heartfelt wishes to our incredible team, clients, partners, and the entire ZAPTA family across the globe :white_heart:

May Allah ﷻ accept our prayers, our sacrifices, and our sincere intentions. May this Eid remind us of faith, humility, gratitude, and the spirit of giving.

:bulb: Great products don’t always win. Great experiences do.

HipChat had the advantage. Slack had the experience.
And in the end, users chose what felt simpler, faster, and more connected.

Biggest lesson for founders:
UX is not decoration. It is market strategy.

Great delivery starts with strong standards :handshake:.

At ZAPTA Technologies, quality management and structured delivery have been part of our culture from day one across all our software products and services.

Our ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification has now been successfully re-evaluated and renewed :white_check_mark: once again reflecting the consistency of our operational standards, SOPs, and delivery practices over the years.

This continuity is the result of the discipline, ownership, and collaboration of our teams who continue to maintain high standards while delivering reliable outcomes for clients globally.

A sincere thank you to all departments, consultants, and especially the team members directly involved in this process for their contribution, coordination, and commitment throughout the evaluation and renewal cycle. :handshake:

Automation does not fail loudly.
It fails quietly — one small erosion at a time.

A customer support team replaces human responses with automated replies.
Ticket volumes drop. The metric looks good. Nobody notices that the clients who mattered most stopped renewing.

A sales team replaces relationship outreach with automated sequences.
Response rates fall. The pipeline thins. The CRM looks busy. The revenue does not come.

A content team automates first drafts and stops writing from scratch.
Output volume increases. The voice gets blander. The audience quietly disengages.

In each case, no single automation decision was catastrophic.
The damage came from a direction: automate everything, measure efficiency, declare success.

The four things automation erodes when it goes too far:
→ Personalisation — customers feel processed, not valued
→ Judgment — teams stop thinking independently
→ Critical thinking — the analysis muscle atrophies from disuse
→ Error control — the same mistake, repeated at scale, before anyone notices

Automation is not the problem. Over-automation without oversight is.

The businesses that use AI well automate the repeatable and protect the irreplaceable.

Automation should support the business — not replace its thinking.

:speech_balloon: Where have you seen automation go too far — and what did it cost?

The best way to think about AI in a professional context is not replacement.
It is division of labour.

AI is exceptionally good at a specific set of things:
→ Generating first drafts at speed
→ Summarising and structuring large amounts of information
→ Suggesting variations and alternatives
→ Handling repetitive, pattern-based tasks at scale
→ Catching errors and inconsistencies

Humans remain essential for everything else:
→ Deciding what the work should accomplish
→ Evaluating whether the output is actually good
→ Applying context that AI does not have access to
→ Owning the quality and the outcome
→ Building relationships and earning trust

This is not a future state. This is how high-performing teams operate right now.

The teams struggling with AI are not struggling because the tools are bad.
They are struggling because they have not yet defined clearly what AI should own and what humans must own.

That clarity is a leadership responsibility — not a technology problem.

AI increases speed and support. Humans provide direction and decisions.

The copilot analogy holds: the aircraft has automation. The pilot still flies.

💬 How has your team defined the boundary between AI tasks and human tasks?

There is a pattern in the companies that get the most value from AI.

They never position AI as the product.

They embed it as the infrastructure underneath their existing value — and then get out of the way.

Three layers where this works best:

01 — Personalisation at scale
AI delivers individualised experiences — content, pricing, sequences — that no team could produce manually at volume. The user never sees it. They just feel understood.

02 — Workflow automation
AI removes friction from internal operations — approvals, routing, quality checks — returning decision-making time to the humans who should own it.

03 — Intelligent analytics
AI surfaces what the data cannot show on a dashboard — churn signals, upsell moments, risk patterns — turning historical records into forward-looking action.

In each case, the AI is invisible. The product improvement is not.

The question for every product and engineering team is not:
“How do we build an AI product?”
It is: “What does our customer actually need — and how does AI help us deliver that better than anyone else?”

AI is not what you build. It is how you build better.

💬 Where in your product does AI run silently and deliver the most value?

A meaningful step forward.

ZAPTA Technologies and Sadiq Medical & Dental Station officially joined hands in a signing MOU that reflects a shared vision: leveraging technology to elevate healthcare experiences.

This collaboration is more than an agreement—it’s a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and better outcomes.

“It’s just a small change.”

Every developer has heard this.
Every developer knows what it actually means.

A small change in software is rarely just a small change.

It can touch:
→ Database relationships
→ Business logic and rules
→ External APIs and integrations
→ User flows and system performance

The visible part is small. The system underneath is not.

This is why experienced teams do not ask “how long does this take?” before asking “what does this touch?”

Impact analysis is not bureaucracy. It is risk management.

The size of a change is not defined by how small it looks.
It is defined by how deeply it interacts with the system.

💬 Does your team run impact analysis before any implementation?
