Denso Techno Philippines, Inc. (DTPH) participated in APPRECIATE 2026 at the Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) – Manila Campus, strengthening engagement with students through meaningful academe–industry collaboration.

During the event, DTPH shared its industry expertise by actively supporting student-centered activities. Mr. Toyoya Okura, Software Vice President, served as a panel judge for the Business Pitching Event, where graduating students presented their research outputs and innovative project proposals. In addition, Mr. Marvin Salonga, Technical Manager, delivered a session on the automotive industry, highlighting recent technological developments and the critical skills required for students aspiring to build successful careers in the field.

Aligned with DTPH’s vision - “To be a centralized design hub, seamlessly promoting collaboration with changemakers around the world.” - this participation reinforced the company’s commitment to supporting academic institutions and preparing students for industry-aligned careers.

𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 : 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

Denso Techno Philippines, Inc. (DTPH) started its collaboration with selected universities as part of its Academe- Industry Partnership, providing graduating students and alumni with an exclusive opportunity to engage directly with the automotive experts.

The sessions were held at Technological University of the Philippines (TUP Manila) on April 14 and Batangas State University on April 27, wherein students were able to interact with DTPH’s local and Japanese Representatives, gaining practical insights into automotive technology, real-world engineering applications, and career opportunities in the automotive sector. These sessions helped students better understand how their academic learnings are applied in actual industry settings and what skills are expected of future automotive engineers.

This initiative also allowed students to become more familiar with DTPH, its work environment, and potential career opportunities- supporting a smoother transition from university to industry.

DENSO TECHNO ACADEMY proudly held its 1st Year-End Thanksgiving Event, marking a significant milestone for the newly established Academy. The celebration brought together Top Management – President -Hirokazu Takashima, Executive Vice President - Morihiro Takano and General Manager & Acting Principal – Ramayana Escobañes. This was attended by key groups, including Talent Engagement Section, Talent Acquisition & Development Section, Business Planning Section and the Technical Development Section, highlighting the collective effort and collaboration that fueled the Academy’s success this year.​

During the event, DTA Talents students took time to reflect on their journey in the Academy—revisiting their personal strengths, acquired and improved skills, and the valuable learnings they have gained throughout 2025. The gathering was not only a moment to celebrate achievements, but also an opportunity to express gratitude to everyone who contributed to the Academy’s growth.​

With appreciation for the support from everyone, the Academy is inspired to achieve the DTPH Vision of becoming a centralized design hub.​
