Five years of Baguio City infrastructure spending is now on the public record.

Under Mayor Benjie Magalong - Public Servant, the city has made its budgets, ordinances, and infrastructure contracts independently verifiable through GoodGovChain. Each record is tamper-evident from the moment it is entered, so the public can confirm what was committed and where the funds went.

Public records cannot rely on assumption alone. When spending can be verified, accountability becomes part of the system.

BYC Ventures joined the Visayas Franchise Conference, one of the region's largest gatherings of franchise and retail leaders, where Paul G. Soliman delivered a keynote on why proof is becoming operational infrastructure. Our thanks to Philippine Franchise Association-PFA President Steve Benitez and the PFA board for having us.

The keynote was direct. AI is already in your operations, but it doesn't fix bad records. It scales them. Operations break where inputs can't be verified, outputs can't be defended, and reconciliation never ends.

The fix is to verify records at the point of creation. When a record can be proven from the start, reporting holds up and audits get shorter.
