We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful Mural Project held on March 7, 2026, at Pahina Central. This initiative was proudly headed by the Community Relations Club members of Kyocera.

This project would not have been possible without the strong collaboration between Pahina Central and USJR Basak Senior High School. Your dedication, creativity, and teamwork transformed not only a wall but also strengthened community spirit and a shared purpose. The mural now stands as a meaningful symbol of unity, expression, and collective effort.

Thank you for your time, passion, and unwavering support. May this collaboration continue to inspire future projects that uplift and empower our community.

We extend our warm congratulations to our KDDP colleague, Myk, and KDDP expat assigned at our Osaka headquarters, Romel, for successfully completing the full 42.195-km course of the 14th Osaka Marathon.

"With no expectations, I submitted my entry to the Osaka Marathon 2026, fully aware of the slim chances of selection. Yet, when the news of my acceptance arrived, I made sure to not only prepare diligently but to enjoy every step of the journey, for such opportunities are rare. The experience was truly unforgettable, especially as I surpassed my own limits and achieved a new personal record."
–Myk

"Still buzzing from the experience; joining this marathon for the first time was something I never imagined I’d do, but I was inspired by my fellow expatriates, and my family who showed me what dedication looks like. What pushed me through the toughest parts of training was the Kyocera philosophy: “Pursue unlimited human potential.” To live by that, we must first believe that human potential is limitless. So, I worked hard, trained harder, and reminded myself that we must never give up until we succeed."
–Romel

The Osaka Marathon is an annual event held since 2011 around autumn-winter (pre-pandemic) or winter-spring (post-pandemic), with cancellations during the 2020 and 2021 pandemic years. The 14th edition was held on February 22, 2026, with the full course weaving through the Osaka metro with notable areas such as the start line at the Osaka Prefectural Offices, Nakanoshima Children's Book Forest, Dotonbori, the Kyocera Dome Osaka, Sh*tennoji, and the finish line at the Osaka Castle Park. This year saw over 30,000 participants from Japan and overseas.
